Dalen was an amazing guide, a history teacher and his passion for the subject and his hometown really shows. Incredibly knowledgeable, with nice anecdotes and visuals along the way to bring the stories alive. Recommendations at the end for restaurants and further sightseeing rounded off the tour nicely. 100% would recommend this tour, worth your money!!

Amazing and informative tour! We learned about the whole history of Pula over its many centuries under different rulers. A great way to get to know the city we are staying in. Plus we got recommendation of what to eat in Pula and other places to travel outside of it. 10/10 would recommend :)

We did this walk with Dalen a few weeks ago. Mom with two Kids, 17 and 14. Both first not interested, but Dalen captured them right away. He is a great storyteller. He loves Pula and his personal story is part of the city. Pula is beautiful and Dalen knows so much about the cities distant and current history.Don't miss this tour. You will see Pula with all your senses afterwards. You get culinary and travelling tips. Just great.

We had an amazing tour with Dalen from Augustus Walks in Pula, Croatia! Dalen was an exceptional guide, full of knowledge and enthusiasm. His insights into the history and culture of Pula brought the city to life for us. He was engaging, approachable, and always ready to answer our questions. The tour was well-paced, and Dalen made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Awesome guide!!! To be honest I was a bit sceptic at first because I thought it was going to be a standard tourist guide where you follow a guy with an umbrella as he recites his text ...boy was I wrong! It was the exact opposite, as we were walking Dalen was telling us the history of the various monuments combined with witty and curious anecdotes about Paula's various historical periods.. He was also great at answering questions from the group and kept a relaxed and chill atmosphere. It was a very dynamic and fun experience where I learned a lot and had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

I had super nice afternoon walk with Delan. I learned a lot about Pula which is a place full of history. He has a really good command of English, so I could easily follow his words. Also he is super motivated and knows a lot about his home town. In general he is easy to be around with and we finished the tour with a beer at local pub. Totally enjoyed it
