What an amazing tour we had today in Pula! You never know what you don’t know…until you listen and learn. Our amazing guide was a wealth of information and good cheer. We appreciated the intimate tour with maybe a dozen people. It was just the right size so that we could hear everything that he said. He was so well prepared with the history of the area, photographs, and suggestions.We highly recommend this tour!

Spent a fantastic couple of hours in Dalen's company on his guided walk around Pula. He certainly knows his stuff and you come away with a great appreciation of Pula and its history. I would expect nothing else from a history teacher and native of Pula! The city's complex history is presented in a very accessible way, and a list of recommendations of local food and drink is a welcome bonus. Would highly recommend.

We joined the free walking tour with Dalen today. As usual, the tour is for free, and you can leave a tip if you would like to.Dalen's passion for this tour and Istria is incredible. He is a very knowledgable and kind tour guide. He showed us around, gave a good history lesson, as he is a history teacher, and lots of tips and recommendations for Pula. We highly recommend to join him when you are in town!

Very nice tour. Dalen is a very likable person and he's a history teacher by profession. Because we were a small group, we were also able to have 'side conversations' about more current topics, such as the recent political elections and the local population's stance on them, 'over-tourism' here in Pula compared to the places we come from, minority rights, etc. Dalen also gave us tips on which restaurants/konobas/cafes are worth recommending.

With Dalen you get a real history lesson he has an amazing knowledge of Istira and presents this well. We have been on many walking tours while traveling and his tours are up there with the best! Thanks Dalen for guiding us on both Rovinj & Pula historic cities

Dalen was an amazing guide, a history teacher and his passion for the subject and his hometown really shows. Incredibly knowledgeable, with nice anecdotes and visuals along the way to bring the stories alive. Recommendations at the end for restaurants and further sightseeing rounded off the tour nicely. 100% would recommend this tour, worth your money!!

Amazing and informative tour! We learned about the whole history of Pula over its many centuries under different rulers. A great way to get to know the city we are staying in. Plus we got recommendation of what to eat in Pula and other places to travel outside of it. 10/10 would recommend :)

We did this walk with Dalen a few weeks ago. Mom with two Kids, 17 and 14. Both first not interested, but Dalen captured them right away. He is a great storyteller. He loves Pula and his personal story is part of the city. Pula is beautiful and Dalen knows so much about the cities distant and current history.Don't miss this tour. You will see Pula with all your senses afterwards. You get culinary and travelling tips. Just great.

Awesome guide!!! To be honest I was a bit sceptic at first because I thought it was going to be a standard tourist guide where you follow a guy with an umbrella as he recites his text ...boy was I wrong! It was the exact opposite, as we were walking Dalen was telling us the history of the various monuments combined with witty and curious anecdotes about Paula's various historical periods.. He was also great at answering questions from the group and kept a relaxed and chill atmosphere. It was a very dynamic and fun experience where I learned a lot and had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

I had super nice afternoon walk with Delan. I learned a lot about Pula which is a place full of history. He has a really good command of English, so I could easily follow his words. Also he is super motivated and knows a lot about his home town. In general he is easy to be around with and we finished the tour with a beer at local pub. Totally enjoyed it
